Promoting entrepreneurship among women can significantly improve their socioeconomic position within a country. This study focuses on examining the relationship between the components of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and entrepreneurial intentions among female university students in Pakistan.
A survey, based on previously validated measurement scales, was used for data collection. The data were collected from female students enrolled in various degree programs across 15 selected universities in Pakistan (n = 180).
The findings indicate that female students’ attitudes toward entrepreneurship and perceived social norms have a positive and significant impact on their entrepreneurial intentions. These results highlight the importance of fostering supportive environments and positive perceptions to encourage entrepreneurship among women.
